I have had the hardest time with my son going poop on his own. He will hold it for days. This started a little over a year ago when he had just turned four. I was giving him a bath. He said his butt hurt. I told him he should probably try going poop and that he would then feel better. He told me that something was on his butt that hurt.
I courageously reached towards his bottom and felt a tough, sharp thing. I pulled on it and my hand slipped. We were in the bathtub people! I reached up and pulled it down. It was scotch tape mixed with a little of nature. My jaw and my husbands fell to the floor.
My son and I earlier that day were doing a craft with scotch tape. I believe he thought he could tape his bottom shut so the poop wouldn't come out. After walking around with tape there, it had gone somewhat upward. I don't think this would be a good advertisement for scotch tape, eh?
My son never did try the scotch tape again. Didn't pass that test.
