I thought that I would show my 12 year old daughter and my 8 year old son, (I also have a 15 year old daughter who was not there... she brings in sooo many more stories) that I can still do handstands and cartwheels... I workout, I feel young for my age, I am getting ready for a birthday which is one more step to 40... no problem. After many cartwheels and many assisted handstands, I thought I could do it myself.
The thought, the preperation, the perfect handstand stance... the one thing that I did not think about was the fact that after all of my practices, my shirt has become untucked... what does this mean... Mom finally does the perfect handstand and flashes her 8 year old son... upsidedown!!! Not good.
He's blind.
He's now laughing, but not becuase it's funny, laughing because he's scared...
I spend the next 2 hours of the night explaining to him that I am so sorry, that I fully expect him to talk about this at the Thanksgiving table 20 years from now and that naked girls doing handstands is usually always good, unless it's your Mom.
I am using my card... "I reserve the right to screw up you life because I had you". Sorry baby.
