I have tried and tried to convince my father to stop smoking, but he refused. So I decided involve my 2 1/2 year old son. I spoke to my son about how smoking was bad and not healthy and if he were to see his Papa (my father) smoking, then he would tell him, No smoking."

We were coming out of a discount store, walking to our car. A man, holding a lit up cigarette, and his wife were loading groceries into their trunk. As we were walking by them, my son yells, "NO SMOKING!" I quickly looked up, embarrased, just to see his wife laugh, him smiling and throwing the cigarette on the ground. After that incident, my son would point and say, "NO SMOKING," to anyone that had a cigarette in their hand.
