As a new mom, I jumped at the chance to get out of the house and go to the zoo some friends and their toddlers. As we were walking, one pointed out the chewy granola bar pieces that were stuck all over her shirt that she didn't know how they got there. Another friend laughed and pointed out the smears of cream cheese all over her pants in several areas. She said she got it all over BEFORE she left the house and knew it but didn't have time to change before leaving. I had to laugh b/c just as they were pointing out the food all over their clothes, I felt my milk rush in and looked down to see it soaking through my clothes. My breast pads must've slipped and made way for the fluid. With that, one of the girls told us a story about one of her friends who went to the Home Depot and was feeling good about herself since a lot of the men were checking her out as she walked the aisles. She hadn't fixed herself up much that day so she was extra thrilled to be noticed. When she got home, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror only to see two perfectly wet, round circles on her breasts. I'd have died so I try to be extra conscious of possible leaks!
