One very hectic morning, I was taking my girls to school. Two went to elementary and on at daycare. Roxanne was so angry and crying all the way to school. When we drove up to the school, she refused to get down. She demanded not to go to schoo because she was so upset. I drove thru the dropp off line and said go[filtered]ye to my oldest and drove off. Now my middle daughter is silent and cannot believe she didnt go to school. I then drove to the daycare to drop off my youngest. Roxanne is puzzled because she cannot believe that she did not get off the drop off line. I then drove back to her school where I then told her. "Ok...now that you are calm. You will go to you class." She asked me, "What do I tell the office? I am tardy."

"Tell the office that you were crying and crying in the car...but now you are ready to come to school"

She got down to the office alone...

She never was late to school again.
