Many people have enjoyed some of the lines I use on my kids. When they were of preschool age, often times when we would go to the park or playground they didn't want to leave when it was time to go. After the first refusal to leave I would say, "Well pick a new Mom, because this one's leaving." In another scenario, my daughter who is a straight A student puts a lot of pressure on herself to be the perfect student. I often joke with her as she proudly shows me her weekly work folder by saying. "You got a 100 on your spelling test...is that the best you can do?" The first few times, she would look at me and very seriously say. "Ah, yes mommy, that's the best you can get"
