My husband and I carefully decorated our Christmas tree for our daughters first Christmas at 11 months.We were very proud of ourselves for being such outstanding first time parents knowing how to baby proof the tree. Later on I was in the kitchen fixing her some lunch still peaking in on her. Man are 11 month olds fast. My daughter had found the only glass ornament on it. She found it bit it and chewed it up and ate it before I knew. She seemed fine but I did just as any parent would I FREAKED! I started feeding her bread and water while dialing the phone. I called the pediatric office and regular procedure is leaving a message with the nurse and she will call you back with in the hour I don't think so s[filtered]. I proceed to tell the receptionist franticly I need the nurse NOW! She said, hold I'll transfer you to her voice mail. To which I proceeded to curse out the receptionist to get me the nurse immediately not her F#@*%@# voicemail I get the nurse and I'm hysterical all I can think is that my daughter insides are being cut to shreds the nurse tells me she is fine. And she was looking back it is extremely funny we joke that she was practicing to be a carnie when she grows up.
