After 15 minutes all the pigs were in their cages and order restored.Then I realized they are very talented.While running and squealing, they can also pee and poop. Of the 10 humans in the garage, 2 were barefooted, 3 only had socks on and five were wearing shoes; and all of us had stepped in something.Thankfully, December in Florida is relatively mild, so we all went outside to clean up our feet and shoes.All kids were sent home. My daughter and I spent the next 2 hours cleaning up the garage floor.No more pig viewings were allowed.It was months before my daughter brought another class pet home for the weekend because we continued to find poop pellets every time we moved something in the garage. I often wish I had run for the video camera, as I was the only adult who witnessed the actual event.But almost more hilarious were the stories relayed back to the mothers of the kids who were there.For several days I received phone calls from neighborhood moms asking for clarification on exactly what happened.Now that my son is in elementary school he often complains that his sister ruined any class pet opportunities he might have had because of the events of that day.
