Until this week, I always said four with twins was enough without adding a dog to the chaos! Well, we just got the cutest black "Golden Doodle" (his dad is a Golden Retriever and his mom is Chocolate Poodle; personally, I think he should be called a "Retroodle" since he's not golden in color and that can be misleading!)...and we are in LOVE with this li'l guy! Also, he's already "training" my kids. They would never listen to me about using the mud room entrance instead of the front door, nor would they take off their shoes upon entering. Now they come in the "right" door, dry off our puppy's paws (which reminds them to take off their own shoes!) and only THEN do they get the privileges of playing with the dog they've wanted for so long! So did we give in as parents to MORE chaos? Nah...all kid and dog training now come together into a neat little package- (maybe we should have figured that out earlier!) Anywho, seeing the comedy of motherhood discipline as it parallels dog rearing will be something I can now relate to when ITM airs on Thursday! See Youtube's V.I.P Promotes ITM! ;o)
