Mornings have always been hectic trying to get myself to work on time and my daughter to the sitter, fighting traffic, etc. Needless to say, I was always late for work and could tell that the boss was getting more than a little annoyed. So, one morning I'm in a zone and I'm just booking all morning long, got the baby dressed, the bag ready for the sitter, made my lunch, got in the car, caught all green lights, traffic was light, yes, it's a good day. Pull into the parking garage at work; look at my watch - 15 min. early!!!! This is a first. The boss is gonna be speechless - can't wait to see the look on her face!!!! I turn around to grab my purse and see my daughter sitting quietly in her car seat. I now have to turn around, take her back to the sitter - the whole time muttering under my breath because obviously it's all her fault for not making any noise back there like she usually does. Drop her off at the sitter and since it's so late, I decide to go home, call in sick and enjoy a day to myself.
