I have a 4 year old daughter who is always by my side. When she was 3, about to be four, I was showering and she was waiting for me on the other side of the curtain.

As I come out of the shower and dry off, she points at my feminine region and says, " What is that?"

I reply, "What is what?"

She points again and says, "Why do you have hair there?"

I say " Grownups just do, and you'll have it one day, too."

Fast forward hours later to the grocery store. She is sitting in the front of the cart as I am putting the groceries on the conveyor belt and she very loudly asks, "Mommy, why do you have hair on your vagina?"

I quickly look around, embarrased, and say "That is private and we'll talk about it later."

"But why?"

"Shhhh!!!"

I still don't know if anyone overheard, but my face was so red!!
